TERRY ORNAMENTATION OR FANCY TERRY STRUCTURES

Terry Ornamentation

If the loops are formed on both sides of the cloth, one side may be colored independently of the other.

In producing more elaborate designs, the pile yarns are caused to form loops first on the one side and then on the other side of the cloth.

This system may be employed with one or two series of pile threads, and styles may be produced ranging from simple checks to complex figures.
